Glad Tidings to the Strangers

fixing my hijab

She sits alone at lunch

She prays alone at school

She fasts alone during Ramadan

She wears hijab alone in school

She comes home from school to remember her Lord

Taking classes to remember Him

Mindful of her duties

Understanding  that being a stranger is better than being an imitator

She walks amongst the earth searching for others like herself

Smiling and rejoicing when meeting a student of knowledge

She prays and make du’a to her Lord asking for the Jannah

Pleading for a place much better than the dunya

Her love for ALLAH supercedes the love of this world

She smiles even when she is alone

because she knows her Lord is watching her

and is pleased with her
